MICE International managed the Riyadh launch of the MIA collection by Scrub N, a premium medical apparel brand serving healthcare professionals across the GCC. The MIA collection includes MIA Balance scrubs, built for flexibility and all-day comfort, and the MIA Gratia and MIA Alba lab coats, featuring wrinkle-resistant fabric and water-resistant options for men and women. The invite-only VIP event transformed Scrub N’s Riyadh boutique into a live fashion runway, welcomed over 50 bloggers and content creators, and featured custom catering served with medical utensils — think burgers plated with syringes for infusions — alongside a coffee and matcha bar, all set against a boutique reimagined with immersive screen content.

There’s an assumption built into most medical apparel — that the people who wear it don’t need it to feel beautiful, only functional. That a twelve-hour shift, a hospital corridor, a life spent in service of other people’s worst days, doesn’t leave room for wanting to feel good in what you put on. Scrub N’s MIA collection was built to reject that assumption. And when it came time to launch it, we didn’t want to just show the clothes. We wanted to prove the point the collection was already making.

Fashion, Without Forgetting Who It's For

Doctors, nurses, medical students — the people who will actually live in these pieces — carry a seriousness that comes with the job. But seriousness and style aren’t opposites, and MIA was never asking anyone to choose. So neither did we. We took Scrub N’s Riyadh boutique and turned it into a working runway, because the collection deserved to move the way it will move through a real day — not sit flat on a rack. Every step of it said the same thing: this is fashion, and it’s still yours.

A Room Built to Feel the Shift

We wrapped the boutique in immersive screen content, turning static retail walls into something alive — a space that didn’t just display MIA, it performed it. Over 50 bloggers and content creators walked into a room engineered for exactly what they do best: capture a moment and make it travel.

Serious, Served With a Wink

The detail everyone talked about was the food — because it refused to separate the clinical from the celebratory. Burgers arrived plated with syringes for infusions. A coffee and matcha served in IV drips,  kept the energy moving through the night. It was playful without losing an ounce of respect for the world it was borrowing from — the same instinct that runs through the collection itself: precision, dressed up.

What This Was Really Saying

Medical professionals give so much of themselves to other people that it’s easy to forget they’re allowed to feel uplifted too — not despite the seriousness of what they do, but alongside it. That was the real brief behind this launch. Not “make scrubs look good,” but prove that the people wearing them deserve a brand, and a room, that sees them as whole people — capable, composed, and completely allowed to feel beautiful while they do the hardest work in the room.

MICE International managed venue transformation, screen content, and the guest experience for the MIA by Scrub N launch in Riyadh.
